Our story is rooted in a lifetime of passion for basketball and the growth of 3×3 as a unique sport. Founded by Paul Sir, a former player, coach, and leader in the 3×3 movement, the 3×3 Basketball Association is dedicated to advancing the sport for all ages and abilities. FIBA 3x3: From the Streets to the Olympics
FIBA officially designated 3x3 as a sport in 2010. It’s debut was at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games. Professional play started in 2012 and has expanded rapidly. In 2024, over 80 professional events, including the Paris Olympic Games, featuring 3x3 basketball were held.
